Lewis has the ideology that it won’t happen unless you first envision it and it has always been her vision to be an accomplished author. Today that dream has come true through “First Lady” An Old School Love.This novel reads so real, you could almost believe it to be true. That is the author’s wish, to take fiction and fantasy, to read as true and somehow inspire others to see that there is hope if you just keep believing in God and yourself. Although the contents of this novel are pure fiction, real happiness can happen for you if you tune into your spirituality and develop a relationship with God.

Diondre, or known as D Shavar in the industry, is a native of the eastside of Detroit. At an early age he always had a love for the arts, performing and visual. So he knew that somehow along the way he would incorporate it into his career path. After exploring many different areas along the way, in 2008 he finally found what he was passionate about and that’s photography. It was that year he decided this is what he wanted to do in life so he started, Eye-Ree Imaging and Photography. The thing he enjoys about photography is that he incorporates all his past training in art into this art form. His plan is to focus on the area of fashion in which he truly loves but he will not allow himself to be categorized as a Fashion Photographer because he enjoys all aspects of photography. And as an extra bonus, D Shavar is now studying to become a MUA (make-up artist). He feels by adding this to his repertoire, along with his Photoshop training it will make him that much more marketable as a photographer.

Alicia King is a poet.  Alicia King is a powerful voice.  Alicia King is an emotion provoking tug at the heart strings.  Hailing from the green and white walls of Eastern Michigan University, King is no stranger to the poetry and spoken word circuit as she was a featured poet at the Color of Drums event sponsored by the university.  Since then the talented word spitter who goes by the pen name “QueenKing”, has wowed crowds at many open mike sessions throughout metro Detroit…..make way for the Queen.
